*For this recipe it is possible to use the air fryer, So you will not need to preheat your oven or use any frying oil. I will put an asterisks (*) nest to the steps you can skip!
*-Start by preheating the oven at 350F.
-In a bowl, put the chicken and all the marinade ingredients.
-Mix and make sure the chicken is well coated.
-In another bowl, crush the cornflakes with your hands.
-Add all the seasoning ingredients in the cornflakes and mix well.
-Now take another bowl, whisk the milk and eggs together.
-Finally, do the flour and cornstarch mix.
-Place your bowls in the following order: marinated chicken, flour+cornstarch, milk+eggs, Cornflakes mix.
-Coat one chicken with the flour mix
-Quickly dip it in the milk and eggs mixture.
-Now put in the cornflakes mix.
-Quickly put back in the milk+eggs mix.
-Now back in the cornflakes.
-Make sure it's well coated and set aside.
-Do the same with 7 other pieces.
-If you have an air fryer, put the chicken in there for 30 minutes.
*-Now that they're all done, heat up some frying oil (350F).
*-When the oil is hot enough, put the pieces of chicken and leave until they're golden and crispy on all sides.
*-Get a tray with a grid, to put the chicken.
*-Put in the oven for 30 minutes.
-Make sure it's cooked.
-If it's cooked, you're good to go! Enjoy!
Hope everyone loves it! Again, chicken is sooo versatile, you can put it over waffles, next to some rice (or cauliflower rice like I did),with potatoes, or even simply a salad! If you want more ideas or have any questions, feel free to "DM" me on instagram!
FYI, If you don't like fried chicken, or if you are on a diet, you can also try chicken breast with this marinade and just cook it it however you want to cook it!
